Gather Refugee, looking for like minded, creative and caring people. I live in Florida but from Indiana, I’m semi-retired looking forward to fully retired! I love my pup Skipper and his older kitty sister Velvet!

My little family!
Skipper loves to be outdoors chasing squirrels and looking at “the ducks” (any water birds) on any pond we are near. Indoors he’s a Velcro dog following wherever Mom goes and making sure my Lazy Boy is comfy! Velvet loves to play chase and taunt Skipper for Mom’s affection!
I’ve been playing on a Watercolor Art App, it’s very relaxing. I choose an interesting photo of something rather mundane and manipulate it a bit here and there then use a Collage App to put multiple views of the photo together in a pleasing arrangement.

My drive around noon in search of a little picnic spot landed us at Gray Family Homestead Park, Hamilton County, Indiana. We walked a little loop trail and found the blackberries in bloom everywhere and a few honeybees busy in the clover.

Velvet kitty is just as soft as her name and extra sweet, when she’s not tormenting Skipper pup!

I’ve been reading Alexei Navalny’s last and final book, Patriot: A Memoir.
I highly recommend this book, it’s a tough read in places especially if you have empathy for your fellow man. Written as an autobiography he starts remembering for the reader in his early life which makes him very relatable.

Received my Con-Ex from Pack Rats Moving and Storage. Khris and Ericha were good sports and helped me empty it into a regular storage unit yesterday. Photos are from about 1/2 to 2/3 finished. There was a lot of stuff in boxes and a moderate amount of furniture though no appliances.

Sweet little place I turned around at on my trip home from Clifty Falls. There’s a “Free Library” in the school building now but it was closed. Just south of Indianapolis and I’m promising to go back and check it out more. I love the width of the boards on the barn, huge native trees were cut down!

I’ve been thinking about protest songs, some go back to 1918 and WWI, this is THE classic! I was 13 in 1965…enjoy and Protest with Resistance!

Clifty Falls waterfalls never fail to impress me. I watched people, families and a group of children hiking today. I hope the governors of all our US states NEVER ruin State Parks like the current resident of The People’s House wants to do to OUR National Parks (with his mantra “drill baby drill”)!

Hiking in the beautiful Clifty Falls State Park and then taking a long soak and watching Lord of the Rings makes for a good day! Realizing it’s now raining and you didn’t get caught out on some muddy, rocky trail with slippery stair steps, PRICELESS!

Just getting away for a couple of days…priceless!

My visit to Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge last week was relaxing and there were loads of other birds but check out this Great Blue Heron trying to subdue his catch!

📌They have been planning this for YEARS.

📌And our media doesn't even have the expertise and/or nerve to call it what it is:

I love the variety of birds that feed at the little pond at my Condo Community! Here’s a loan Woodstork looking for snacks at the bottom of the pond. Fun fact, the stork has a sensor that collects electrical pulses enabling him to hunt effectively.

Dems would get much more traction finding and promoting people saying what they know and experience.

What has more impact, This man speaking his mind or the Dems speaking “in unison “ ?
You guys need to see this and take it in…

Wise words from someone who is a target. And he’s been listening.

Ridiculous how much crap is coming out of Washington…I’m very concerned about us all but also my Hispanic friends and the LBGTQ+ community as a whole. Add in health care researchers, college students in research programs and their professors plus all the good people working for us in Washington.
