it's kind of insane how horrible of a first impression moral orel makes, doing a rewatch rn and you've gotta be a hell of a trooper not to tap out after episode 2 lmao. kind of crazy to look at where it started vs where it ended up though.

while samarie is supposed to be canonically "pretty" (kind of) i think some people have misconstrued that as her being "conventionally attractive". you can be a little freakish and still be pretty, in fact in some circles that might even make you prettier. s'all subjective and whatnot.

there's a really interesting ebb and flow to chainsaw man where things will be going good for a while and even start to look up before they'll be immediately ruined and everything will be brought back to this horrible bleak low point you're forced to climb out of to get back to the beginning
