Always treat the mentally challenged like they matter. People can be butt holes towards them and it's other normal adults who are the worse. Don't let it happen on your watch if you see them in public. They are not poison, they are human.

@jamespmanley.bsky.social Big Jim, when you were growing up in Minnesota during the summer did your mom use a clothesline to hang out/dry clothes? My mom did. I miss having a clothesline. Especially when the electric bill comes due. My mom had the real steel wire and wrapped them around oak trees.

@jamespmanley.bsky.social Got home yesterday about 4pm just scanned on the cable news channels. Stopped at CNN then they panned over to Scott Jennings on the panel, changed the channel and listened/watched the old TV show called The Rookies while winding down. I think it was a show from the 70's.

My Mexican grocery had quail in the case last week. Made an Adovada marinade with achiote paste and chipotles. Baked in the oven so I could stay inside. My mom’s rice and green Chile casserole on the side.
