playing pinball was hands-down one of the best parts of #FurtherConfusion2026 for me ^~^

Got to meet the furry who owns the Duotron table, and he even opened it up to show off the (mostly) electromechanical internals
The pinball table, called Duotron. The playing field is painted with geometric designs in red, cyan, and yellow. The backsplash on the table has a stylized robot, drawn in the style of 70s sci-fi. The inside of the pinball table, with a large number of electromechanical drums and relays. An out-of-place arduino is located to one side, and wired into playfield lights.

reading the 2017 updated version of MindPlay, and it actually,,,, handles gender a lot better than i thought it would

granted, only a few pages in, but there’s already multiple sections discussing pronouns and trans people in a genuinely informed + nuanced way

been feeling pretty self-conscious about my thing for sweat/body-odor.

I shower every morning, but don’t wear deodorant — and with my activity levels + hormone balance, my partners say that I don’t stink (unless you’re up close in my pits)

but castlevania,, really cooked w the “hot fuckable eldritch horror who corrupts your mind and bends you to its will”
an inky purple, six limbed creature occupies the center of a chapel. Its muscular form is roughly 20 feet tall, and it appears to be made of some unearthly flesh and sinew. Its two forelimbs are nailed to a horizontal wooden beam, crucifying it and affixing it to one side of the room. The remaining four legs dangle, barely making contact with the floor. The head is difficult to fix your gaze upon, but if you muster the will to avoid flinching, you can discern roughly 8 eyeballs arranged symmetrically along the slender, tapered skull. The structure of the head is somehow simultaneously like that of a horse and that of a dragon, and the eyes embedded across the face glow with a greenish hue. From the rear of the head, glowing tendrils project and extend down the neck, their colors transitioning from a ghastly green to an unnatural magenta, a shade unlike anything found living in the earthly realm. The scene before you is perplexing — how could a force so alien be restrained by a mere crucifixion? — and your most basal animal instincts urge you to flee. Yet you can’t help but feel as though something else is drawing you in for a closer look…
