AI technology for as much of miraculous piece of technology it might be in some regards, it's clarly putting in jeopardy one of the fundamental aspects of learning.

Putting in actual effort.

Years ago I read a few emerging works about teenage years. Tldr they proposed that a person could be considered a teenager up to 24 years old.

And in all honesty, as years have gone by, I start to agree more with that idea.

When it comes to sea water, salt should be one of your last concerns.

Due to both industrialization, waste disposal and even some natural factors, seawater contains a large amount of bacteria that the human body on average is not prepared to deal with.

Reminder that all forms of gambling are objectively bad for anyone and should never be promoted or encouraged.

This includes slot machines, sport bets, gacha games and that dumb roulette game that always lands on red.

I'm sorry to inform you all of the following: After checking all the facts and background info I could get my hands on, a shrimp did indeed not fry your rice.

One of the fundamental abilities you can acquire from playing chess (or any game alike for that matter) is forward thinking.

Simply put it's the ability to connect the dots of action-reaction behind every action.

I.E when moving a pawn you are already thinking of the next move and your opponent's.

For anyone who's into or is curious about choking as a... Let's say pleasuring exchange between partners, you don't actually choke each other.

It's more of a psychological pleasure related to the dom/sub dynamic, although, yes there's probably one person out there who actually enjoys not breathing.

Recently a post about cramps has caught my attention, the general idea was too quickly stand up as you felt the tightening and walk away, whilst it seems to have worked for some people, please don't do this.

First degree burns are easy to treat.

These are superficial burns that leave a red color and itchy feeling on the affected area.

Simply put the burnt area under cold water until it stops itching/hurting and then carefully dry it up.

Family is those who want to see you grow, learn and smile, and it has nothing to do with blood connections.

To the people that gave you life, you only owe them the continuation of that life.

Love is the unconditional support, and not the expectation of getting something in return.

Don't think I ever explained the purpose of this account.

Simply put, I'm not good at anything in particular and my social skills are very lacking, but I'm very good at learning and helping others learn things.

If I could help someone by giving them knowledge they could use, that'd be good enough.

This is a classic one.

If you ever go to a different city, state, region, country or whatever, when it comes to food places, you're better off sticking with local establishments. Asking people who live there is also reccomended.

The logic is to eat where the average resident eats.

Helping others by being yourself should be the endgame of every person.

Tho, it's quite the gruesome task, not only you need to figure out who you are and what do you want, but also, you will always be contested by those who will want to sabotage your every step.

Losing weight or burning far is one of the topics I get asked about a lot.

There's no real simple answer that'll work like a charm.

If you do tons of cardio and sweat a lot, you'll lose weight, cuz your body is dehydrated.

If you cut the carbs from your diet, you'll lose weight cuz you eat less.

Have you ever felt sore after working out or just doing hard labour?

The main cause for this is leftover hydrogen left around the muscle fiber. When you sweat you realease water, or at least part of it.

From the H2O in your body, sweat is kinda like HO leaving 1 H behind.

There were a couple of instances where some of my students accidentally called me "dad".

Heartwarming, I won't deny that.

But why does that happen?

"Don't use Wikipedia as a source"

Wikipedia summarizes a lot of its content for the sake of presenting what is just the essential points.

Most of its info is out of context and blended together to fit with other sources.

The stiffening of joints is mostly caused by aging and lack of movement (in general, certain conditions can also contribute).

Between the bones there's a liquid that esentially acts as lubricant for smoothening movement, however this liquid solidifies if no movement is performed.

Oh yeah, since I dropped off uni I guess its okay to talk about my career since I'll never exercise it.

I was studying to be a gym teacher, this is why I'm so knowleadgable in physical training, anatomy, sports and welp, teaching.

I wanted to keep it "secret" since it's a very delicate matter.

Hi, saw this post over on tuitoor.

Not saying this is the reason, but it is actually not a bad change.

Driving is a very dangerous action that requires a lot of focus, having brightly colored cars like those on the road could be a hindrance to people who are easily distracted by bright colors.

I've noticed a weird slow burning trend where I live in recent years.

English is not the primary language here, however, for the longest, many products here have had english names. (I.E "hot dogs")

But recently, some of these products are now getting their names translated/adapted.

Mediocrity is the biggest threat to future generations.

The "good enough"s, "bare minimum"s and "if it works it works" are some of the worst mentalities anyone could have.

Sometimes you may not be willing or able to give it your all, buy if that's your entire life, you'll get ever so far.

If your low back hurts in your 20s, do remember that it can be due to the lack of mobility.

Simple stretches and mobility exercises go a long way.

Low back pain gets worse with time, don't let it stockpile.

This is easily my most forgetable account because even I forgot about it.

Anyhow, just a quick one. If you are ensure if an egg is fresh drop it on a glass/pot of water. If it sinks, its good to eat. If it straight up floats do not eat it. There can be in betweens, usually those are fine.

Self diagnosing is a tricky thing, more dangerous than anything.

If you ever look up a condition or problem on a book, article, or god forbid: google, and you just go "that's literally me", do keep in mind the potential overlapping symptons you may have.
