Seekers ask questions off a menu to the Hiders, slowly acquiring information and allowing the Hiders to draw curse cards, as they run around the map on UTA's buses and trains. Meet at 9:30 a.m. at American Plaza to group into teamsnod 2-3 & learn how to play. We'll play 10-6 or end early once all teams have hidden. Each team will need the ability to text and send photos in a group chat, share real-time location, and look things up online, so bring what you can on your phone. The game has breaks during the 45-min. hiding time; bring plenty of snacks & water plus money if you want to buy food. Schedule updates & more SLURM: bit.ly/slurm-ut

SLURM October 18th! Meet us at American Plaza (with a bike!) at noon for a 17 mile ride with only 2 stoplights.

The rest reads as follows: SALT LAKE URBANIST MEETUPS PRESENTS: A Seventeen-Mile Loop of Salt Lake With Only Two Stoplights Saturday, October 18th @ 12p.m. American Plaza, 48 W 300 S A STUDY into the finer details of traffic laws: SLURMers on this route will enjoy total right-of-way over vehicle traffic everywhere except at a few stop signs, and they will experience firsthand a broad range of Salt Lake City crosswalks, including a couple of new ones. At the start of the ride, we will designate volunteer "corkers" to shepherd the group through crosswalks--this is an all-abilities, casual ride. Meet 12p.m. at American Plaza with your bike, or grab a Greenbike day pass. We will roll out around 12:15. Route & more SLURM: bit.ly/slurm-ut

They're a bit goofy and all weekday-only hourly, but let's take them for a spin! ITINERARY. 6:00 p.m. Meet at American Plaza downtown 6:27-7:00 Blue Line from Gallivan to Sandy Civic 7:09-7:29 Route 219 to EOL [end of line] at 2200 W & 14400 S Walk 2.1 - 3.5 mi. to a 126 stop 8:59-9:20 Route 126 to Daybreak Parkway 9:30-10:14 Red Line back to Courthouse Feel free to join mid-route! We'll be in the front TRAX car.

SLURM UPDATE:

It has come to my attention that our train lost tracking around 2 hours ago near Grunction, CO. SLURM will continue, but if our train is substantially delayed (>2hrs), we will likely catch the final scheduled Frontrunner instead.

We will be meeting at 7:30 PM at the usual place (American Plaza downtown) too take the 8:03 p.m. FrontRunner southbound from North Temple. Please be punctual.

If all goes well, we'll be on Amtrak going northbound at about 9:30!
