Time to read more of the faith-restoring #theclubontheedgeoftown by @slunglowalan.bsky.social - a living example of how small acts make the world a better place, a tonic to a turbulent world,. Raving now, gonna need a megaphone when I finish it.

Be useful, be kind ♥️

Was in the desert yesterday. You know what they say, desert yesterday sand in your pants today.
I feel like someone says that.

Of all the politicians who should have seen a self defeating, destructive decision by both left and right wing politics designed to give a bloody nose to the perceived smug centre coming then surely Barnier was it no?

Christmas tree up.
Wherever we travel we try and get a Christmas decoration so the tree can remember the year.
This year’s trip to Finland, The Gifting show, handmade in Oban and my favourite- a golden version of Davidbaby by the brilliant designer David Farley- all captured in ornament.

This is good. She’s great. Also amused when they just describe the clothes Indhu is wearing whilst being interviewed and it’s basically “clothes”.

Sat waiting for next flight to get home working on the next instalment of The Club on the Edge of Town as this just popped up. Galvanising! Thanks Nerys!
A couple of years ago in the other social media place someone was raving about this book #TheClubOnTheEdgeOfTown by @slunglowalan.bsky.social

I can’t remember what they said but it was enough for me to buy it.

I’ve just read it, couldn’t put it down and now I want to rave about it too

Fab.

A great visit to Basel. Home of the extraordinary Top Secret Drum Corp. A volunteer performer model company doing extraordinary things for last 20 years. You can hear them on the last Mission Impossible soundtrack! Brilliant esprit de corps amongst them. Pleasure to watch them work. #peoplestheatre

SALTSEA CHRONICLES needs just 14 more Steam reviews to qualify for ‘very positive’ (they’re 100% positive, you just have to get above a certain number to be ‘very’) so if you have enjoyed the game and have the time to leave even a short review we’d love that 💙

it turns out I’ve never bought a lamp in my life. Never the need.
Now there is.
So I asked the brilliant @davidgfarley at @2scaleShop if he could help
In time all 3 of us- me, David & Bolt- will be lamps in different colours.
Today Bolt was finished

Anyone know of a secure child pick up service in the north of England. My son is often in the wrong place, and I need him to come to me but apparently I’m not allowed to just give him train fare so… anyone?
