Steve--Productivity growth did not rise by 4.9% in Q3. It rose by an annualized rate of 4.9% during Q3. For the 12 mnths ending 9/30/25, prod. growth was only 1.9%. The actual non-annualized productivity growth for the 3 months ending September 30, 2025 (Q3 2025) was 1.2%.

Why is this a surprise. We have vaccines against HPV which causes cervical cancer. In US, 4k-4.3.K women die from cervical cancer annually, a rate that has significantly declined due to screening & vaccines. However, it is recommended that va'nation be given @ ages 9-14 and rates have dropped.
