Change is hard, can almost be an impossibility for some. When I talk with the older generation, I can understand their fears, that their lifestyle is becoming obsolete. That their communities are becoming obsolete. But many tenants of "country life" have been manufactured.

The state of social media is just distressing. Minutes after trump got shot all communication channels were just flooded with misinformation, conspiracy theories, and hysteria. Popular party leaders were quick to pin blame and only increase the division in this country. It just feels hopeless

It's impossible to debate Trump because he just spews nonsense and false information nonstop. He doesn't debate in the world of rationality. Biden is forced to put out fires the whole time instead of getting back to his actual accomplishments.
