Jasper met Santa Claus today and was so brave! He didn't even care when the ankle biter in line behind us tried to attack him. Or the guy in front pulled out a snake! Santa definitely doesn't get paid enough.

I got a mini cow! Okay, it's not really what I'd hoped for, but Otto and Chunk look excited. Or as excited as skeleton horses can be.

My heat furnace is broken (it DOES get cold in Los Angeles)so until the part comes in on Tuesday, we are depending upon the space heater from my office.While we are watching the F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix, Tuff has claimed the prime place on the recliner in front of the heater. As the old man should.

After three days of rain the dogs and I needed some exercise. So much to their dismay, I dug out their raincoats and off we went. Naturally, after we got home, there was a break in the rain.

I have missed Summer since I had to give her back to her owner after Talen died. Today I got to borrow her for a bit to chew down the grass. It was so nice having her back, even for just a while. Pen missed her too. Summer even tried to visit me while I worked in the office.

My favorite place, Edelweiss Farms, has a really cute (or terrifying depending upon the day) Smurf jump.For the next few weeks they are also doing double duty as Halloween ambassadors. The boy Smurf's banana costume may be a little problematic. Or not. Lol.

Ruckus is celebrating her fifth birthday. She is pissed that I gave her a dry shampoo to rid the faint smell of skunk from her last encounter.So she opened a cabinet and helped herself to at least a dozen biscuits. She now smells slightly like a lemony skunk.

The No Kings Day rally in Simi Valley, which is a solidly red district was huge! It gives me hope for our democracy.

I canceled Disney/Hulu and sadly Nat Geo. The process was easy. I'd been paying $10.99 a month. They offered to let me re-subscribe for $12.99 a month. I gave the reason for canceling as their capitulation to trump's corrupt FCC threats.Suddenly was an error message. What an odd coincidence!
