Farewell to June Lockhart #RIP

Known to many scifi fans from LOST IN SPACE, she also had a memorable guest appearance in #Babylon5 S1 E21 "The Quality of Mercy" as Dr Laura Rosen.

Wait... why is Prime Video only just now telling me that #Babylon5 expires in 5 hours? And why wasn't that notice visible when I started watching a few episodes this morning?

It is still on Tubi... and no warnings displayed about the show leaving there anytime soon. Yet?

I've got a new short story narration up over at @talestoterrify.bsky.social, "One August Night" by Bryan Carrigan.

The first few episodes of the old #Babylon5 fan fiction audio drama "Three-Edged Sword" are online again.

It's a podcast on YouTube now, just like the old A Different Point of View #StarWars parody podcast I'd reposted last year.

I know eventually Fubo and Hulu Live TV are merging, but dammit, I'm so damned disappointed in Hulu Live TV, and regretting canceling Fubo a couple months ago to switch.

So I'll go back to Fubo for baseball, and will add Vix to Amazon in July to watch Liga MX. The merger will merge when it merges.

Just a reminder, the old voicemail number was successfully transferred from Microsoft/Skype to another carrier.

It still works for leaving voicemails, and apparently I can also receive text messages. Other than having fun during future live streams and watch parties, not sure how I feel about that.
Everyone knows now that Microsoft is shutting down Skype, and I've used a Skype number as the podcast voicemail line for over a decade. The thought of losing that number and replacing it was disappointing.

Fortunately, I had the option to move that number to another service. Folks can keep calling!

I'm a #Marvel girl at heart, and most of the titles I read in the 80s and 90s still mean a lot to me.

That's why this upcoming series from @bloomsburybooksus.bsky.social has me so excited. They won't be out till November, but can't wait to see what comes later.

I figured this was coming, but having 60 days notice is nice.

Both Slice of SciFi and The Babylon Podcast have been using that Skype number since about 2012. Before that we had K7 numbers, so again we move.

So, is Google Voice is the popular US option to transfer VOIP numbers to? No other options?

I wasn't exactly looking for a new #fantasy #puzzle, but since someone went to all the trouble of making a 1000pc puzzle featuring Frank Frazetta's Death Dealer, how could I not buy it?

I'm working on something else at the moment, but when this arrives I may have to bump it to the top of the pile 🤣
