Not a lot of people will agree with me and a couple of others, but this is seriously a gem of a movie.
No one talks about Jacob's Ladder enough. One of the scariest, saddest movies i've ever seen. Hugely influential to the Silent Hill game series.
191. Jacob's Ladder (dir. Lyne, 1990).

Maybe the saddest horror film of the 90s (or, at the very least, a top contender for the title). Its minimal use of practical effects and reliance on nightmare-inducing quick edits to obscure what effects they *did* have? Filmmaking genius.

Dumb question for you all. Should give VA work a shot at some point? I’ve been considering it more and more lately.

I’m truly saddened over the loss of David Lynch. The abstract and surreal ways he displayed his creativity and ideas in his movies and media are big inspirations of mine and to so many others. There wont be anyone else like him. Rest easy, king…

Had a hell of a time today. Some guy walked in front of me and I thought it was just some rando until people started cheering. Turns out it was Matthew Lillard. Then afterwards I accidentally bumped into Tom Kenny. We exchanged some words then he gave me his SpongeBob laugh.

I know a lot of us are down in the dumps and are unsure about what the future is going to be like, I understand completely. I feel the same way. But, during times like this, all I can really do is share some words that could inspire hope. I’m not good at this, but bear with me:

The wingbeats of hundreds of thousands of moths and the creaking of the shingled walls is near deafening. The smell of damp rotting wood, rust, and mold fills the air and is nauseating. And the lights...they're your saving grace, but also your downfall if you stare long enough. (Compressed)
