‘Complicit’? quite the judgement esp when someone is not of America & has a world full of politics to educ themselves about. Many may have a broad sweep / partic knowledge of some issues / geog areas inc their own; America & ‘key players’ may think it’s of prime imp; it’s far from that for many.

Many, inc me, didn’t follow Musk’s politics; was aware of his Twitter/X craic but not his ‘right-wing’ support. Many may say, ‘But …’, but there it is & doesn’t help for some to call ‘those like me’ stupid, liars or secret ‘Trump supporters.’ That’s just bullying & belongs in Twitter X, not here.

Don’t agree; I can’t be alone in not recog this level of debasement coming & am not going to criticise s’one bc they were somewhat gullible & optimistic & lacked awareness of level some wld sink to. We need optimism to maintain pos mental health despite it s’times resulting in getting it wrong.

I suspect for some, inc me, naivety & shock underpinned the disbelief that anyone wld promote nazism and be celebrated for it in this day & age. What a world we live in. & how did we even get to this place so speedily? Horrendous.
