'Do You See What I See?', a new exhibition by Essex Sight Loss Council, is now open at Great Yarmouth train station.

It build on a project shown at Norwich at Colchester, using art to share the lived experiences of blind & partially sighted people.

Our SLC teams in Hampshire and SE London recently ran simulation walks with local councils, exploring how blind and partially sighted people navigate crossings, street furniture, scaffolding, bus stops, and other everyday obstacles - highlighting the real-world accessibility challenges many face.

Yesterday our colleague Nicki Guy spoke to Jim Diamond on @lbc.co.uk about a pioneering hypotony treatment at #Moorfields. Once barely able to see a hand, Nicki now has dramatically improved vision. This breakthrough offers real hope.

Last week, The Government responded on pavement parking. Sight Loss Councils are backing Thomas Pocklington Trust's campaign, and work with MP's and councillors across the country to ensure safer streets for blind & partially sighted people.
