"Optical tweezers use waves of light to trap and manipulate individual molecules". Sound waves can do this with larger things too (open sauce had a couple demos of this last year), and now "aqua tweezers" using water waves. Neat!

This is pretty awesome, it's basically a camera (really a phased array antenna) that lets you see wifi signals. Works through walls and even around corners with some extra math and training:
