It’s crazy to think the British Library spent decades building an extensive collection of Wilde’s manuscripts and is only just now getting around to reinstating his reader card. I’m glad they’re doing it and it’s definitely something to celebrate, but it’s 2025. It shouldn’t have taken this long.
