The one upside of generative AI is that it made me value human-made art more. Art that didn't really impress me before feels way more meaningful now. Thanks slop, you made me appreciate human creativity more than ever.

I kid you not, @itch.io has been taken down by Funko of "Funko Pop" because they use some trash "AI Powered" Brand Protection Software called Brand Shield that created some bogus Phishing report to our registrar, iwantmyname, who ignored our response and just disabled the domain

Oh my god. SpaceX is just Aperture Laboratories from Portal. Elon doesn't know what he's doing but he has the money to make science happen.
By this logic, he'll die and his assistant will take over, only to be out inside an AI and kill everyone at the company to test in secret.

I used to hate static on dark pictures during my film school days. I felt they inaccurately capture reality as we see it. But now, I find it beautiful. Some digital cameras render the images without, but I have turned this off for my camera.
