Donations to food pantries are so important. There are government contractors who will not be receiving back pay, and those whose breadwinners have been snatched in ICE raids.
Change takes time; hunger can't wait—let's act where we have power.
Even with shutdown ended, with partial SNAP paychecks, delayed paychecks, and many displaced, food banks and pantries are running low & will take time to replenish.
