I like Nixon so kind of empathized with her and her GF not being too happy with getting squashed in 5 minutes... then i learned that they basically refused to do the match (1 match into their AEW appearances) and Nixon's GF is a weird MAGA TERF. So i care a whole lot less now.

Pretty brutal, independent wrestling has always been somewhat rough to run business wise, Hotdog and a handshake is a joke for a reason but currently if you are a US Indie I think you are just fucked unless you work with WWEID or closely with AEW.
Bombshell news for the U.S. indies: Deadlock Pro Wrestling has announced that their 12/12 show will be the last “for the foreseeable future.”
