Since having kids I find I can't easily divide each year into "good" or "bad". 2025 was rough on a lot of fronts--personal, work, political--but with kids so young, they change and grow and become themselves so much in just 12 months that there's a lot of good mixed in that I can't dismiss.

I love living next door to my mom's for a lot of reasons, but right now (tonight) I got 2 main ones: 1) I can go out our side doors and get back to my own bathroom (with bidet) when I need it (lol). 2) when I am overstimulated I can come take a 10 min break by myself in the quiet.

aivi & i did music for the middle segment by rebecca sugar & ian jq, together with jeff liu! lts such an artistic project, i think it was really special (and aivi & i still haven't seen part 1 or 3 yet 😂so it'll be a surprise for us too!)
I voice 14 different characters in THE ELEPHANT on HBO Max, this was one of the most unique, fascinating projects i've ever worked on, three different teams led by Pendleton Ward, Rebecca Sugar + Ian Jones-Quartey, and Patrick McHale all contributed segments without ever seeing the others (1/2)

I am really pleased with @ibuypowerpc.bsky.social custom PC builder and process. Honestly $110 to build and test a $$ gaming rig is a bargain. I am giddy each time I get a progress update. I love the tracker that shows what step of build the pc is on too.

Does anyone have any use for an NVIDIA 1050Ti GPU? I have some other parts too. Since I am upgrading I won't need them soon. I know its pretty old but if anyone needs it as an upgrade then i'd rather you mutuals get first dibs.

I hate that when I'm applying for jobs, I will get tons of scam calls so I never know who to answer the phone for. When they leave a message it gets my hopes up, only to realize its a scam call. Brutal xD
