Many Canadians don't understand "private" healthcare. "Private" is not the issue. For profit is the real issue & obstacle.

Many Canadians don't understand "private" healthcare. "Private" is not the issue. For profit is the real issue & obstacle.

With a new BC Minister of Health, I hope that @josieosborne.bsky.social and @DoctorsofBC can have productive conversations re: Bill 36 (HPOA). Politicizing Colleges is wrong. As it stands, Bill 36 is counterproductive to the relationship between government and health professionals.

I've been a pediatric health care provider for a long time. More importantly, I have 3 kids.
We can debate political policy.
We can debate benefits of certain diets.
We can debate different exercise regimens.
