@statsonfire.bsky.social what if....and hear me out...he'd sees Salah as the Shannahan replacement. A successful defensive coach that was a Rodgers disaster away from being successful in NYC who will let the GM be a GM.. And he's setting this up for next year?

Don't resign Purdy. Don't overpay him. Don't give him 60m. He's very very good. But you can get almost as good of play from Cousins/Darnold/etc (don't kill me) at 1/4th cost. And you can rebuild the o-line.
Also get rid of Deebo.
