Even after Trump's failures during COVID, where >160k preventable deaths were attributed to the Trump administration's failure to listen to experts, they still refuse to show any humility or patience. What will it take?

Watching Trump making a fool of himself, arguing with the mayor of Los Angeles, it becomes crystal clear: Trump and his supporters give absolutely no deference to experts. They think their naive intuition is better than someone's years of experience.

The stunt actually worked. Confirmed today via students. Some of them actually think Trump "saved" TikTok.

In an effort to as you say "buckle up", or as others would say, take things one day at a time and look on the bright side, I now find myself chuckling at what, six months ago, would have been called a tragedy. I am not proud of this.

Disgusting how the only place I've heard this reported is the NY Times Daily Podcast. Our media ecosystem is completely broken.

Yesterday I went to The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art to view the Hokusai: Waves of Inspiration. It was a transcendent experience. I was moved to tears multiple times through out the exhibition.

I am left with one perplexing question. Why do so many people take pictures of art with their phones?
