On this day in 1992, George H.W. Bush sent a memo to all White House staff about how fat his dog was
attended a very traditional anglo-catholic service last night and it was beautiful, completely different from anything I grew up with.
I'm not saying I'm converted just yet but they got me with the aesthetics at least.

i've seen this discourse about young people using subtitles for everything and how it relates to decreased attention spans
there's likely truth to that, but i think a major factor is just how bad audio balancing is on your typical television setup, voices are totally lost in those tinny speakers

i dislike arguments against AI imagery that focus on its shortcomings, because there's an implication that if it improved (and it will) it would be more acceptable
in fact, the better it gets the more I will despise it. I dread the day that I truly can't discern if something is AI or not.
