Mahama Emerges as Global Development Power Broker as Aid Models Shift
President John Dramani Mahama has been ranked 5th on Devex’s 2026 Power 50 list, placing him among the most influential figures shaping the future of global development in a rapidly changing post-aid era. The ranking, published annually by Devex, reflects a growing consensus within development policy circles that power is no longer defined solely by the size of aid budgets. Adinkra Stamping: Printing Culture, Philosophy, and Identity on Cloth
Adinkra stamping represents one of Ghana’s most profound visual languages, where philosophy, morality, spirituality, and identity are printed onto cloth through symbolic form. More than a decorative textile practice, Adinkra stamping is a system of communication—an embodied archive of Akan thought expressed through carefully crafted symbols and deliberate repetition. Each stamped motif conveys layered meanings that speak to life, death, leadership, unity, resilience, and human conduct.
