It's incredible how often devices blame me for not working. Instead of admitting "we f*cked up," Amazon reports, "You did something wrong," when I did exactly the same thing yesterday.

Heat like we had today (almost 100 degrees) is why I went into computers.

In honor of Brian Wilson, I am planning to watch Love and Mercy. I love John Cusack and Elizabeth Banks, but I’m approaching the movie with some dread. After all it’s a lovely and terrible story.

Before you spend much more time on AI, could you please get copy-and-paste to work? I spend much more time reformatting than I do getting AI to answer my prompts.

Have you ever had that moment when you say, “Gosh, this is exactly my situation.” That's how I felt when reading the book Aligned: Stakeholder Management for Product Leaders by Bruce McCarthy & Melissa Appel

I know everybody is crazy about AI right now, but while you're waiting to find a viable business model, could you please make your applications copy-and-paste without making me spend an hour reformatting?

“You changed the meaning of that word!”

No, we didn’t.

Language is basically one big game of telephone.

“The product trio is great… until it isn’t.”
You’ve probably heard it: product manager, designer, tech lead. But when it’s time to actually plan a release and launch to market—you need a fourth voice.
Add Product Growth to the core team to make a Product Quad.

Good chat with @productnerd.bsky.social and @talkingroadmaps.bsky.social on the roles of product management and product ops. May describes product ops as product management of product management.
(Plus a nice shout to me! YAY!)

As of early 2025, the U.S. national debt is around $34 trillion.

The combined net worth of all U.S. billionaires is roughly $5.5 trillion (give or take)—probably less after Friday's slump. Taking *everything* from the billionaires still doesn't solve the problem.
