90-95% of all deepfakes are non-consensual, sexually explicit images and videos of women.

Used for harassment, revenge and extortion, this abuse brutally strips women of their autonomy and privacy, whilst destroying their reputations, careers and mental health.

Soroptimist Bristol started the Candlelit Vigil march to highlight the UN International Day For The Elimination Of Violence Against Women outside the orange lit Victoria Rooms.
We joined over 200 participants afterwards, including male allies, to march down to College Green.
