Love these IKEA assembly instructions, they've managed to translate "give it a good ol' slam, no not like that, do it again and really twat it" into minimalistic pictures
Steps 7, 8, 9, and 10 of an IKEA draw assembly. On step 8 it shows the draw being slammed with a 'click'. Step 9 is the draw coming back out, and step 10 is another slam, identical to step 8 but with more slam lines

It's a fun way for Petts to monetise a kick about in the park...

For the record, Robin Ince is a superb comedian, an absolute mensch, a remarkable thinker and the kindest human you’ll ever meet. And the BBC is a genuinely great and globally unique institution that needs to stop being afraid. I think that’s where most of its faults and issues stem from.

The Telegraph Graham Linehan My trans critics are cowards. Yes, Ardal O'Hanlon - that includes yOu I expected more from my friend of 25 years. But he would rather condemn me than fight for the rights of women and girls I expected more from Ardal. I never thought he would intone the catechism. "I still get on great with everyone," he said in a recent interview with The Times, "though I haven't seen much of the show's creator, Graham Linehan, and am baffled as to why he got involved in the culture wars. I feel sorry for him - he's entitled to his opinions, but the way he presented them made it confrontational. When I read that, I phoned him immediately. When people betray me, I always make the mistake of phoning them straight away. My heart was thumping in my chest as I found his number and gave him a faux-polite, "Hey Ardal, how's it going?". My anger was already boiling. I knew exactly what he would say - the exact same things Bill Bailey said when I phoned him, the exact same things Amelia Bullmore said when I wrote to her. I knew, and I phoned anyway, because I can't help myself. And when he started reading from the same script as all the others, I lost my temper. At some point, Ardal said, "I just disagree with you." I would have said all this to him on the phone, but I was so angry I could not get any of it out. In fact, at one point I said, "You're on my f--ing s--t list." Ridiculous, of course, but unfortunately true. Like Father Ted at the Golden Cleric Awards, I keep a tally of every person who took the easy path and watched me twist in the wind. I can't help it. I remember them all. Tim Heidecker saying I'd gone down a "rabbit hole". David O'Doherty, who didn't have the guts to speak to me. My own brother-in-law publicly calling me insane. Adam Buxton, Jon Ronson, Richard Herring, Stewart Lee. People who knew me, people who had my phone number, people who could have asked, people who assumed the worst because doing otherwise would have exposed them to the same treatment I was receiving. In condemning me, to use Douglas Murray's line, they raise a little flag outside their home so the mob will pass them by. And every time one of them hands a journalist another little quote - another "baffled," another "sorry," another "he's awful, but I hope he's okay" - they get to carry on with their lives while mine gets smaller. One reason I love comedy festivals is the relative relaxed nature. Despite my meticulous planning, if I miss out on someone, I'll see someone else, no drama
I don't need to see tour shows

Seeing a tour going on sale with dates in 2027, over 2 years in the future reiterates I'm doing it right for me

I'm planning 3 different comedy festivals consecutively and the prices are dumb.

I can book 3.5 *full* shows for the same price as one WIP from 'big name'.

Then you have some great, established comedians selling their shows for a bag of crisps and a high five.
