There’s a lot of content on Netflix that depicts the lives of non-Black people from various walks of life, socio-economic backgrounds and countries even. The same can’t be said about Black people. Content depicting the lives of Black people is few, far between and mostly celebrity-oriented.

How do you repay a people for robbing them of their ability to speak to one another in their native language? Unique languages enable ethnic communities to be more cohesive. A lot of ethnic communities speak English; they also speak their native tongue too. We were robbed of that.

Liberian food is some of the best food that I have EVER had in my life. And, most of us (African-Americans) will never have it. How do you repay a people for that?

Record label executives shouldn’t have the power to decide who the leaders of the African-American community will be. WE should decide who WE will follow. Furthermore, the wise know that their end-game has always been and will always be erasure and replacement. If you trust them, you don’t get it.

Malevolence should never be celebrated. Music that promotes any form of violence (physical, verbal or emotional) should be turned off. Love lifts. Wrath oppresses. We’ve faced the wrath of racists for centuries. The last thing we need is wrath within our community. Support artists who get that. ❤️🎼🎤
