i don't intend to really advertise it or anything since it's mainly a thing for people who ask independently for it but i feel i should mention it: i have a discord server i post pretty constant updates/concept art/ideas/etc. for my game into so if that interests any oomfs just ask for an invite

really annoyed that i haven't been in the mood to draw something in forever. i know i should be doing it more but i keep not really being invested in what i draw so i have to just do sketches to finish anything. maybe if i took comms so i had an excuse to stay invested in it i'd get more art done

i like making refs for + modelling my characters but i've had to do like 4 characters that look like some variation of this shape layout/design in a row and i'm starting to feel bad even though after this one i'm pretty sure there's none left that do this

really cool prank to pull on someone if youre a godlike being who hates them: make them get 3 hours of sleep so when they wake up in the middle of the night they go back to bed and then make them sleep for 9 hours through their alarm and wake up at 1 pm. do this every night forever. im gonna die

it's really funny how often my friends say something in the style of 'you wouldn't like that game it feels like the videogame version of editing a spreadsheet' because like every single time it backfires and makes me want to play that game

sometimes when i'm writing my game's script i'll write something only i will laugh at down and then i go 'this line is SO dumb. i should cut this' and then later i open bsky and see a trails screenshot that's like maybe 2 degrees removed from what i wrote saying 'is this the zenith of rpg writing??'

the thing i am least excited about doing for my game is all the animations i've still yet to do, i like animating, it's satisfying to finish them, but it takes so long to do anything it honestly kinda pisses me off that it has to sit there and take up so much time in the work cycle

3h is such a weird game to me so far. there's like a million problems i have with it and i feel like i shouldn't have managed to get past the 10 hour mark (especially since the first time i tried it i was just extremely annoyed the entire time) but i can't stop playing it this go-around. help me

mother 3 encouraging 'mash the button to the rhythm of the song' for timed hits is really weird cuz it also does a great job at making you realize 'wait i just mashed all battle and things worked out just as fine as if i was trying' in like every enemy encounter idk how they never picked up on that
