Just watched this vid by @razbuten.bsky.social and I'm a bit shocked that the comments almost unanimously agreed on hating irl timers in games. Imo, this is a very underexplored design space and people being this apprehensive, though understandable, is kinda disappointing.

So, I know this is a stupid pet peeve of mine but I just can't stand inconsistent lighting in video games. Notice how only some light sources in the new Trails remake throw shadows? Worse, the torches in the remake don't do it, but the ones in the same dungeon in the 20 years old OG did.

Finally found time to watch the first episode of #CriticalRole new Daggerheart campaign, Age of Umbra. Gotta say, Matthew Mercers world building is spot on as ever and the new characters promise to be just as good.
Not 100% sold on the new system yet.

Habe grade von meiner Mutter gehört, dass sie bei den Bundestagswahlen erstmals per Briefwahl abstimmen wird. Sie möchte nicht zum Wahllokal weil sie Angst hat Faschos könnten da Stress machen.
Frage mich grade wie viele Andere dieses Angst wohl ganz vom wählen abhalten wird.
