Amateur bird perv.

Bought a camera in 2024 and started taking pictures of birds because they were around. Now they have become my real life Pokémon and I've gotta catch 'em all!
Didn't even know this was happening tonight. Just happened to notice it when I was bringing in groceries. What a surprise.

Photos from the weekend anniversary trip to Lake Red Rock. It was the first time me or my wife stayed at a cabin. It was a swanky cabin. I'm a city boy after all.

Debate is great. But if you and I can't meet in the middle and concede some points, then it's just an argument.

As a kid and young adult of the 90s and 2000s, a lot of my entertainment came from the TV show Cops.
That memory continues on through countless YouTube bodycam channels I consume daily.

The main difference now is my middle-aged fascination with birds.

Trying to share photos quicker. It takes forever because I never want to edit but what the hell am I waiting for?

My Pulitzer?

Yes.

My wife and I took a walk around Saylorville. Got some good pictures of ring-billed seagulls.

Including one of a seagull flying and pooping.

5 likes and I'll post it on my OnlyBirds page.

Snapped this pic last week with my cellphone outside of a mall.

Y'all like house finches?

You better.

I like taking photos of things. But sometimes you need a video to really capture all of something.

For short clips like this the Meta Ray Bans are pretty nice.

Fun fact about about this bird:
Some people call the Canadian goose a cobra chicken.

Say it to its face, bro! It'll be the last thing you ever do!

One of the things that's nice about having a decent camera is having a fast shutter and capturing things that happen in the blink of an eye.

Like this baby snow monkey getting into a fight over a stick.

There was an African vulture at World of Birds show.

The crowd watch on in shocked amazement as it was released on 2 particularly naughty children.

When it was done there was nothing left but bits of flesh and teeth. Which is weird because vultures usually only eat dead things.

Cannot remember what this was. I think it's a Aplomado Falcon returning to a volunteers hand at the World of Birds show.
