This is one of the best single issues I’ve read in a very long time. If you’re not reading “Assorted Crisis Events” you’re missing out. It’s brutally honest, insightful, great comics work from @denizcamp.bsky.social @ericxyz.bsky.social Jordie Bellaire and Hassan Otsmane-Elhaou

I loved Thunderbolts*. I thought it was terrific.

Florence Pugh is a charisma and charm MACHINE. You can’t help but root for her and empathize with her and like her.

It’s weird that the Severance season 2 score isn’t available.

They should just give Britt Lower an Emmy right now. Seriously, her work on #Severance is just incredible. The amazing and subtle distinctions and variations on a character are just remarkable. This show is one of the highlights of my week.

The Super Bowl had 3 completely different nightmare fuel ads:

(1) the Seal seal
(2) the tongue thing
(3) the cowboy hat head kid

Please do less of this, ad people

40-22 and it wasn’t even nearly that close of a game. It might as well have been 40-8 or something. Wild. Not the outcome I was expecting.

Surprise, you’ve been traded to the Lakers.

McDaniels as Patriots OC feels uninspired. Clearly the team has had success with him, but I wonder if maybe some newer, more up and coming offensive mind might be better for Maye.

Watching new Severance made me realize how much I missed this show and just how good it is. We went back and started watching it from the beginning.

I have unironically loved Lynch’s “Dune” for 40 years. Even if he didn’t love it, that’s ok, those of us who love it REALLY love it.

On a more positive note, I finally read this. What an amazing book.
