Finally, finally, catching up on Doctor Who (ngl, Space Babies put me off for a long time)...gotta say, Ncuti's second series is pretty damn solid. Good stories, well woven social issues - a little hammy in the writing at times but it is prime time sci fi. Shame it's possibly the start of the end.

Easter Bunny: actually a malevolent creature attempting to enslave the human race with dopamine addiction and diabetes. Discuss.

Been meaning to get active on here again. What better way to return than by shouting: WE. ARE. CHAMPIONS!!! #ALAW

Got interviewed for @yorkshirepost.co.uk . Mentioned @bobmort.bsky.social . I would like to submit the amendment that I actually said "the sheer amount of nonsense that man spouts", not good sense. Lovely write up, cheeky mention of MUTTON, really enjoyed this interview

First comparison to Jack Black of the year. Told the teachers I didn't mind but he has sold out a bit now. They amended to a young Jack Black

Done! Done! Draft three is done! I don't need to think about witches or hens or misogyny for at least 6 weeks!

Except for the ACE bid resubmission this week...and the misogynistic state of the world...and the girlfriend who is desperate to adopt hens for the garden.

One year ago I went to a mate's party. Spotted this dead lovely human from across the room, stood with a guy I'd met before. Went over cos I liked her tattoos and her face. Chatted a lot and realised we basically have the same brain. Had a snog. Snogged our mutual mate as well. Got her number.

I'm moving house. My flat hasn't been redecorated in nearly ten years (previous tenant here for 7, me for 2)...possibly longer. It has ancient storage heaters, the carpet is rank, the bathroom suite is pure 70s....landlord has put the rent up AND managed to let it within a week. Renting is broken.

Anyone else tempted to insert a random word into the middle of their document when a fellow train passenger nips to the loo and leaves their laptop unattended?

My partner opened a bar a few weeks ago. She had her first "complaint" that on Saturday, the bar was full of too many of "the intolerable left, and lesbians". The question she's asking is...how many lesbians is too many lesbians?

Just said to partner: "the world's burning but we might as well laugh about it. The alternative is scarier" and I think it's my new artistic policy
