I’m going to an engagement party later and have no idea what to bring the newly engaged couple. Wine? Liquor? They’ve been engaged for three days so they’re not exactly registered anywhere.

Things I remembered to get/bring for my lesson this week: a giant water, my own crop bc I’m tired of using a dressage whip, gloves bc the rubber reins are weirdly sticky and give me the ick, max strength deodorant, and a snack.

A downside of living alone: moving a tv. I was carrying it fine, then bumped into my entertainment center with my hip, and dropped it. Completely shattered it. Expensive Saturday/Sunday at my house

One month post surgery and I’m officially down 35 pounds. It’s still a mindfuck because I can’t see the changes except in that my bras and pants are too big. Eating is still an adventure (aka struggle) but it’s getting easier!

Actually getting out of the house today! I have real pants on! Still doing painkillers every 3 hours and struggling to meet my fluid and protein goals but it’s progress!

I got home from the airport at 3:15 this morning and got up at 6 for a Dr appointment downtown at 8. I’m exhausted. My sister is driving me slightly nuts about picking up something from my house and it’s taking willpower not to yell “GO DIG THROUGH MY SUITCASE OF DIRTY LAUNDRY IF YOU WANT IT SO BAD”
