Rather unexpectedly finished 'The Dispossessed' last night and wouldn't mind sitting in a pub with someone having a chat about its ambiguous utopia and the utopias of the Federation and the Culture.

Random X-Files episode of tonight is an instant favourite. Two Kathy Griffins who live virtually identical lives and hate each others guts. I love doppelgänger weirdness and KG is perfectly cast. :D

Finished the professional accreditation submission paperwork today so it's off to my clinical supervisor tonight for her to complete her bit. Will probably review/redraft before I submit it, but hoping that's pretty much it over and done with.

Recently finished a read through of all the R.E. Howard Conan tales and it really really rams home how the Arnie version is absolutely NOTHING like the original character. Maybe if they'd called it 'Conan the moron'? At least there's a gorgeous soundtrack (and hey that cult party scene can stay).

First day of Work of 2026 was a bit of a shock to the system but combined that with an interview for a potential promotion so we'll see how the rest of the week goes. Giving myself the night off with the lovely Jacqueline Pearce tribute from the S2 #blakes7 blu-ray.
