Last time Wrexham played Cardiff was the semi final of the FAW Premier Cup in 2004. We won on penalties and I remember it being freezing and lasting forever. The win in the 1995 Welsh Cup final at the National Stadium was probably my favourite game against them.

So of the four sports teams I support - Wrexham, Wales, New York Mets and New York Jets - the one that won a game the most recently was the Mets and their season finished in September.

An ice cream van has just been past my house and it was playing the Steven Fletcher song. What a lovely tribute to the big man. I’m not ashamed to say I shed a tear as I was tucking into my screwball.

Wow, Dazn are charging £14.99 for a week-long pass to watch Chester in the playoffs. If you bought it before their match tonight it would run until Tuesday and so include the next round on the weekend. By my reckoning that works out at £14.99 per game.
