Despite "eternal peace," aid deliveries to the Gaza Strip have been sparse so far due to Israeli objections. The US wants to change this and is now taking control. The fact that Israel has to accept this says a lot about the current power dynamics.

According to al-Jazeera, Hamas is willing to withdraw fighters “stranded” in Israel-controlled territory/behind the yellow line in Gaza with the help of Red Cross vehicles. This would be an important step to significantly stabilize the fragile ceasefire.
