‘Facts matter, yes? Then know that the American taxpayer is NOT funding the BBC. Media Action is the BBC's international development charity, funded independently by external grants and voluntary contributions. Fact.’

@mjtoma.bsky.social Sir, your magazine has recently published an article on long Covid. It is misleading.
I would be delighted to discuss the latest peer reviewed, published science with you, much of which is not considered in your article.
I look forward to hearing from you,
Emma

Clever how they’ve matched up the backdrop for President Macron and his deaf signer…. Not that I’m finding this TV address boring.

Just went outside to cut some rosemary to add to the meal I’m cooking, & found these two enormous squash (?) growing in a quiet corner of the vegetable garden. I did plant a selection of vegetables earlier in the year, but thought the slugs had eaten the lot.
Vegetable curry for dinner tomorrow! 🥳

Leading BBC bulletin. Should it?
December 2, 2024 at 6:36 PM
If the BBC management were first warned about Gregg Wallace back in 2012 why on Earth are they in this position now?

Why can’t all debates in the House of Commons be as thoughtful as this Assisted Dying debate? No pantomime and real feeling.

Sad news, I’m afraid: Yesterday we had to say goodbye to Willis.
He was exceptionally cute and also consistently grumpy. He spent 90% of his life on someone’s lap (didn’t mind whose), and, like most terriers, was the walking embodiment of a Napoleon complex.
He was very loved and he knew it ❤️
