Today is Holocaust Memorial Day. I have been immensely privileged to photograph some of the last survivors of the Holocaust. These are the hands of survivor John Hajdu holding his teddy bear with which, as a 7 year old Jewish boy in 1944, he escaped the Nazis.

Having just finished photographing the 'Temple of Victory' at Allerton Park, North Yorkshire, I left a couple of unexposed frames at the end of the roll ... just in case ... then this appeared! Shot on Harman Phoenix 200 … very grainy, very contrasty, very quirky! #35mm #filmisnotdead #nikonf6

Wonderful to meet and photograph the legendary Katie Chapman today. As a professional footballer Katie played for Arsenal Ladies and Chelsea Ladies, and was a member of the England women's national team.
