Joe and I are seriously considering a big move to Edinburgh some time after we have the baby, seems like it fits pretty much everything we want out of a living location. Tips from anyone who has done this (@lilt.bsky.social?) much welcome

I really love how "pregnancy symptoms to watch out for" lists are all like "this symptom may mean you need to go to the hospital at once, or alternatively it could be completely normal and caused by gas"

I'm missing philosophy and writing a lot lately, and even though my manager recently encouraged me to spend some time at work pursuing my academic interests I just... can't envision how to get started again?
