Just been told that 1 in 3 of all students taking ClassCiv in Worcestershire come from the department I started.

We were an upstart department that was not supposed to thrive. I am so proud. Verity the current HoD is doing a stunning job!

Lion TV who made the recent BBC series Pompeii: The New Dig have said a new episode of the show has been commissioned, which will likely be broadcast early next year after further research has been carried out.

I have a student who just wants to see where things go. It has been so much fun. We started with The Medea moved on to The Agamemnon and then via Tony Harrison and Seamus Heaney we have got to Equus. No idea where it will take us next. Suggestions welcome 😊
