If I’m being honest with myself, I’m far from okay, but I’m expected to pretend like I’m fine and go to work with a smile on my face. I was told I’m not supposed to be sad at work and that I need to do my job with a more up beat disposition. I’ve never let patrons see me sad but that’s not enough?

I am frustrated that, due to chronic illness, I’ll never be able to use my pto for a real vacation. No one I know is on Bluesky so I thought I’d just leave my baggage here. If anyone sees this thanks for bearing with me.
