It' been a privilege to welcome foresters, arboriculturists and researchers from around the world to the AAB Creating Canopies II conference this week in Carlisle and Coombs Wood, Cumbria. The importance of silviculture was emphasised, especially for resilience, biodiversity and the bioeconomy.
