out on the dunes this morning. watched a reclining driftwood effigy gazing at passersby before its inevitable abandonment, the flickering lighthouse in the distance its only consolation, but even that will be snuffed out by daybreak. poor fella.

Wuthering Heights movies are generally a bad idea but if it had to be done I'd love to see a Daniel Day-Lewis Heathcliff kinda hamming it up like he did Daniel Plainview to take some of the edge off and to make the sinister mustache-twirling brutality of the character a bit more palatable

Andor makes the sequel trilogy worse because ya got the heroic/hopeful resistance and sacrifice yes but then the reward for that is an immediate return to corrupt/feckless democracy and 40 more years of war. Realistic maybe but suspicious message from the megacorp sci-fi fantasy marketed to children
