THRONE OF GLASS SERIES Reading Update:

- mixed feelings so far

Started with book 1 throne of glass (not the novella), nearly DNF'd multiple times bc the plot felt weak, confusing (love)-triangle, lack of emotional depth, incoherent writing, also fluid POVs I did not always follow. Bad.. BUT

It is a horrible day to be a comfort friends watcher :(

The sad truth is I massively overerstimated my ability to focus on anything BUT relaxing so I only made it through infernal devices + 2/3 last hours and have not touched GW2 a single time.

But bookstagram made me buy the throne of glass 8 book bundle so I'll catch up with that over the holidays 🎄✨️

Used my monthly budget to buy a 15 book series as ebooks just to be able to reread my favourite YA fantasy series in chronological order for the first time ever and honestly I am afraid of the heartbreak 🥹🥹

But how am I going to explain to my mentor that I came up with a completely new way to revolutionise (e)sports health&wellbeing and went full goblin mode on a new project the past 2 weeks when I had just set up my exit strat to get out of this hellhole?

I take practise what you preach very seriously when we full wipe at 0.15% in a CM Ankha run first thing in the evening and then cannot stop being blown up by quagan explosions for 3h straight.

All I aim to do until 2026 is reading the full shadowhunter saga (infernal devices, last hours, mortal instruments, dark artifices) and do a full playthrough of the Guildwars 2 storyline incl. the upcoming expansion. ✌🏻
