I know it's not the new year yet but I'm in a mood to work out, eat/drink healthier and try to be more productive. Starting with smoothies and a small workout today.
The hardest part is keeping it going after a week or two.

Been working on my guitar playing and in less than a week I've seen a huge improvement.

It's horribly sad to see the cycle of abuse, blame, anger and malice never ending or at least for some people to keep fanning the fire for their own purposes. Which sadly I do not see it changing as it's gone too far for too long.

These 6" long hands need to hold and stoke something. Tonight it will be the baby hand sized guitar. Tomorrow? Who knows, as I might find something else to play with.

So I found my baby hand sized guitar the other day... Needs tuning really bad but may play around with it when I have free time. (It's an acoustic guitar designed for children because my hands are legit child sized.)

Ahhh now I only have one artist left on X that I watch as everyone else moved to bluesky. Which means I'll be turning my account there into a paperweight.

Love how X keeps notifying me about posts from people I don't follow at all.... Like no I don't want to see what a narcissist posted or is talking about. I just want to know if the trans artist I like posted something new!

Okay I would normally say this extra hour of sleep deal is great except now I'm awake an hour earlier and falling back asleep isn't an option because it makes my sleep schedule worse.
Guess I should get used to this though so I can get productive in the morning.

Love how people in local groups you keep an eye on because you get bad vibes suddenly congregate with people you know are bad news and have proof of it. (Plus actively going out of your way to the bad chicken food place from an event says a lot about your views.)

Whelp over the weekend I've learned that I need to 100% exercise more since I couldn't survive one round of DDR on standard mode. Which kinda hurts my pride as I used to enter DDR tournaments. This means I'll have to find my dance pad and set up the game at home it seems.

Ahhh I see that the "let's sell at cons without being a registered dealer" is returning again. People please don't do that.
1st of all you are taking away funds from people who paid to sell there.
2nd due to the rulings of some areas Tax and/or business IDs maybe needed to sell merch at cons.

Okay I have to say it I personally hate people who work in healthcare that are there for the paycheck and not for the concern of human life. Just overheard a healthcare worker state that covid is just the flu and doesn't kill people. Like please tell that to my gram who is six feet underground.

One thing I am happy about being over here on Blue Sky is a lack of seeing posts from certain individuals who just cause problems with others in the fandom and with cons.

Me noticed that handpan prices have dropped recently.... I need to stop looking at these and work on playing my steel tongue drum instead. Although I've been wanting a handpan for years.
Must resist the urge to impulse buy one. As I need to focus on more important items first.

Ugh watching someone interacting with a furry raider and defending them hurts. Especially when it is a fairly young person in general and doesn't even know what a furry raider is. Once explained they still defend the individual and it's just sad watching the manipulation from the group in real time.

Ahhh the joys of figuring out the scales of an instrument so you know what each note is. Instead of going oh I like that sound it's a nice sound let me pair it with this sound over here.
Or just making audio diarrhea. It's not a fun experience for everyone involved.

Been watching furry drama hit bluesky and everyone has been blaming it on Twitter/X. Sadly just because it's a new platform doesn't mean people who like to cause drama or start spats or give bad takes are going to suddenly stop. Best we can do is curate our feeds to not promote or see them.

Late night thought. I could potentially use a children's guitar to play as my baby hands don't get strained from it. Due to the frets being technically closer together and the neck is not as wide.....
