We can't wait until the midterms. The time to act is NOW.

Sounds good to me.
My political hot take is that US voters should be able to recall elected representatives via petition - at any time.
No more hiding behind election terms.

There are about 2 homeless people for every religious institution in the U.S. Imagine if each one stepped up and "adopted" those 2 homeless people and provided the necessary support to get them on their feet and housed.

Churches should earn their tax exempt status by reinvesting in their community. At least 70% (?) of their revenue should go to:

▪ Feeding the hungry.
▪ Housing the homeless.
▪ Providing daycare and after school services for kids.
▪ Funding addiction and recovery services.

And similar things.

This went under the radar.

The draft dodger in chief can't remember the words, so he bebops along with the music instead.

He has NO business being at event to honor those of us who served.

I'd consider those enlistments to be null and void, having the oath administered by a draft dodging, unqualified commander in chief who violates his own oath of office daily.

You have to wonder what's going on inside of his addled brain when this happens.

Does his fragile ego have him pouting all the way home?

Or does he direct Patel to get the name of everyone who bought a ticket to seek revenge?

Not that I'm defending the senile coot, but that is common practice when administering the oath of enlistment to a group of individuals simultaneously.

The oath requires the enlistee to, in fact, state their name.

The average SNAP benefit per month is $177 a person.

The average ACA benefit per month is up to $550 a person.

People want us to hold the line for a reason. This is not a matter of appealing to a base. It’s about people’s lives.

And working people want leaders whose word means something to them.
