So allow me to (re)introduce myself, I'm Sikata Raeda. I'm one of those weird multi-sona furries.
I can be a Ferrin (which is my current namesake), a Cat, an Avali, a Driggy, a Jex, the list goes on.
I like to say I have different characters for different occasions, but they're all a facet of me.

I'm also sensitive to music so my mood shifts heavily. I could be neutral one moment, and in tears the next.

Yeesh, I get really sick one day, and all of a sudden, my body is like. "Nope, you're a daytime ferrin now."

So, I was completely blindsided by December and I got nothing done...
Earlier that month I ended up being rushed to the ER and was diagnosed with Bell's Palsy. Thanks to quick actions I've largely recovered from that...
But there was also the holiday season... And that time of the year hurts...

For some reason I woke up remembering Anthrocon and the Furryland Pizza in a Dog Bowl.
And then my brain decided to be weird and thought what if the dog bowl was filled with wings and fries instead?
Maybe I'm just craving BBQ wings, but then again the idea of the left over bones does amuse me.

It's been a bit since the ER visit and all that. I'm mostly ok, but not having full functions of my face means I speak funny, eating and drinking is a bit more difficult and I have to use eye gel to protect my eye from drying out.
Hopefully the recovery is sooner rather than later.

I'm so glad I have Medicaid now. The three medications I got from the whole ordeal would've been 70usd, and that's just the generics. I ended up paying 3usd instead.

So, life update. After several tries and attempts, and despite a government shutdown, it looks like I was accepted into Medicaid. I'm not sure how, but it looks like things might be finally turning around.

You know what's disappointing. I WAS interested in one of those Divoom Pixel Displays because I like pixel art and I've seen some around Anthrocon, but it turns out they implemented AI GEN garbage. I wonder if there's anything similar that doesn't have such trash. Heck the ad itself seems Generated.

It looks like the podcast app I used to use on my phone (Pocket Cast) got enshittified with ads, even after I had paid for it a while back.
I moved to AntennaPod for the time being until I can plan a course of action, unfortunately some of the podcasts I subscribed to are no longer available...

I was randomly thinking of OC ideas earlier and one of them got stuck in my head. What if there was a #macro of some sort that cultivates bonsai trees, shaping and nurturing them.
But to the average person, the tree is regular sized. Whether it remains potted or planted, I'm sure it'd be special.

So lately I've been kind of in a #Minecraft mood, but I want to find a modpack that has staying power. Something with magic, exploration, RPG, loot, and maybe some light automation, just nothing that depends on Create... It makes my head hurt.

All this real life stuff is really exhausting, physically and mentally.
