Since I'm mainly traveling in remote areas of Egypt, I rarely have internet access. Therefore, dear Twitter community, I unfortunately can't interact with you as much as I'd hoped. Everything will be back to normal after my return to France at the end of January or mid-February.

A building dating from the time of Khedive Ismail (who ruled Egypt from 1863 to 1879). He commissioned French architects to transform Cairo into a modern capital city, tasking them with building a "Paris of the Orient".
